There has been a major change in the Xbox One dashboard design. It will use the new fluent design and will focus on optimsing speed and ease of navigation, removing splash screens that appear within the different sections like home, social and apps.
The biggest change involve the home interface on the dashboard. This has seen the biggest influence from Fluent Designs and is now fully customisable. The user will be able to pin their own combination of items to the home screen section, getting updates on apps, games and friends.
The community section will not go without change either. It is going to feature a different layout on the activity feed and will incorporate different elements into the full screen mode.
There are now also horizontal tabs within the guide that can be navigated using the console controller. It hasn’t changed all that much in appearance but it will improve navigation and user experience immensely.
